Week 10 Learning

This week has been another busy week in Room 15. We have been learning all about spiders. Here are some interesting facts that we know:
1. Spiders have 8 legs.
2. Some spiders do not spin webs.
3. Most spiders have 8 eyes.
4. Some spiders are poisonous.
5. Some spiders live underwater.
We have been writing poems about spiders.
We have made spiders.
Also this week our second butterfly emerged and it was on the day that we had predicted. Another exciting thing that happened was that we got some letters from our buddies in California.

A Caterpillars Life Cycle

Welcome to the world!!

In Room 15 we were so excited to welcome our beautiful monarch butterfly to the world. We had predicted that it would hatch on March 29th because we had learned that the caterpillar takes around 2 weeks to change inside of the chrysalis. The butterfly hatched bang on the 29th - aren't we clever!!!
