This week we have started to learn about the FORCES, PUSH and PULL.  We thought of lots of words that we use when we talk about moving things and made some wordles. 

Keep on trying!!

During book week Mrs Garton read us a story about a penguin who wanted to fly and he never gave up even though it was really tricky. This got us talking in our class about DETERMINATION and PERSEVERANCE. We know that it is really important to keep trying even if we are finding something difficult. In Room 15 we have a 'CAN DO' attitude and we always keep on trying. We liked this clip about a kiwi who doesn't give up on his dream of flying. We hope that you like it too.

Book Week

This week is literacy week at school. We are all bringing our favourite books to share with the class. We are going to be doing lots of fun activities.

When 2 Vowels Go Walking!!

In room 15 we have been learning about words that have 2 vowels together. Words like:
seat, heat, meat, plain, brain and train.
Here is a song that we like that shows us what happens when 2 vowels go out walking.

Minibeasts

We have learned so much about minibeasts and now we are finishing by learning how we can encourage helpful minibeasts into our school environment. We are having a go at planning a garden area outside of Room 15. We found this fun song called 'I like the flowers' that we would like to share with you.
