Full of Beans!!!

Austin brought some vegetables to school that he had grown in his garden. He brought a pumpkin, yellow beans, purple beans and green beans. Austin told us that the purple beans would turn green if we cooked them so we decided to try. Here are some photos to show you what happened!!!

Hello everyone!!

It has been a super start to the year in Room 15. We have all been very busy getting to know each other and learning how to get along.
We were lucky to have Kelly Sports come along to school this week to share some games with us. We all had lots of fun as you can see from the photos.

Welcome to Term 3

Welcome back to school everyone. I hope that you all had an enjoyable and relaxing break. We have a very busy term ahead of us but also very exciting as it is time for the Junior school to shine on stage in their production - Footprints Through Storyland.
This term our topic is Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. We are going to look closely at the environmental footprint we leave on Earth and how we can make a smaller one. We started the topic by burying 3 types of rubbish in the ground - plastic waste, paper waste and fruit/bread scraps. At the end of the term we are going to uncover the rubbish and see what has happened. Here are some photos and predictions that the children have made.

I think that the plastic waste will stay in the ground. - Jinhee

It will be really interesting to see what has happened by the end of the term.
